Role Description
The COO is a full-time, on-site role based in the Tel Aviv District, Israel, reporting to the CEO. This position owns Bettear's operations end to end - supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, order fulfillment and internal processes - and builds the operational infrastructure for the company's global growth.
You will turn customer orders into on-time deliveries, manage suppliers and manufacturers, control inventory and operating costs, and make sure the company runs on clear processes, systems and KPIs. You will work closely with sales, R&D, finance and the international subsidiary.
Responsibilities
- Lead supply chain, procurement, production planning and inventory management
- Manage relationships with manufacturers and suppliers, including cost, quality and lead times
- Own order fulfillment, logistics and international shipping, including export and import processes
- Build and improve operational processes, systems (ERP) and KPIs
- Oversee production quality and regulatory compliance together with QA
- Manage operational budgets and work with finance on cost control and cash flow planning
- Support the transition of new products from R&D to production
- Lead and develop the operations team
Qualifications
- 10+ years in operations, with at least 5 years in a senior operations management role
- Experience in a hardware or electronics company, preferably with international distribution
- Strong background in supply chain, manufacturing and contract manufacturers
- Experience with ERP systems (Priority an advantage) and process implementation
- Proven ability to scale operations in a growing company
- Strong leadership, organization and problem-solving skills
- Excellent English; additional languages are an advantage
- Ability to work on-site in the Tel Aviv District and travel as needed
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering or Business; an advanced degree is a plus
