This policy explains what personal information Bettear collects through bettear.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

bettear.com is operated by Bettear – Accessibility Technologies Development Ltd. (company no. 515665842), 33 Habarzel Street, Tel Aviv 6971049, Israel, together with its subsidiary Bettear Inc., 1430 Broadway RM 1503, New York, NY 10018, United States ("Bettear", "we").

Information you give us
When you fill in a form on the site (Contact, Become a Partner, or a form to download a document), we collect the details you enter:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Job title, company and company headquarters
- The products you are interested in, or the document you asked for
- Your consent to receive marketing communications
How we use it
- To answer your enquiry and send you the documents you asked for.
- To send you news and marketing communications about Bettear products, with your consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time.
- To understand which products and documents interest our customers and partners.
We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
We use trusted providers to run the site and our communications. They process information on our behalf, and some of them are located outside your country, including in the United States:
- Mailchimp (Intuit): stores form submissions and sends our emails.
- Vercel: hosts the website.
- Sanity: hosts the site's content, images and documents.
- Google Analytics: measures how the site is used (see Cookies).
- UserWay: provides the accessibility toolbar.
- YouTube (Google): plays the videos embedded on the site.
Cookies
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We use:
- Necessary cookies: after you fill in a download form, cookies remember the documents you unlocked and your email address for one year, so you don't have to fill in the form again.
- Statistics cookies from Google Analytics, which tell us how visitors use the site.
- Third-party cookies from YouTube when you play an embedded video, and from UserWay to remember your accessibility settings.
Your cookie choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. To stop Google Analytics from measuring your visits on any site, you can install Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Tools that stay in your browser
The Sign Generator and the Receiver Calculator work entirely in your browser. A logo or QR code you add to a sign is not uploaded to us.
How long we keep information
We keep form submissions for as long as we need them for the purposes above, or until you ask us to delete them. If you unsubscribe, we stop sending you marketing emails.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to ask us to delete it, or to object to its use for marketing. To make a request, email info@bettear.com.
Children
bettear.com is meant for businesses and venues. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
