Role Description
The Manufacturing QA Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Tel Aviv District, Israel. This position owns the quality of Bettear's products from components to final shipment - ensuring every unit that reaches a customer works reliably, out of the box.
You will define quality standards and test procedures, work with manufacturers and suppliers to prevent and fix issues, handle failure analysis and RMAs, and make sure products meet regulatory and certification requirements in Bettear's markets.
Responsibilities
- Define and implement quality processes, inspection and test procedures for production
- Manage quality with manufacturers and suppliers, including audits and corrective actions
- Lead incoming inspection, in-process and final product testing
- Handle failure analysis, RMAs and root cause investigations, and feed findings to R&D
- Track quality KPIs (yield, defect rates, returns) and drive continuous improvement
- Maintain product documentation, test reports and traceability
- Support product certifications and regulatory compliance (e.g. CE, FCC, RoHS)
- Take part in new product introduction to ensure products are designed for quality and testability
Qualifications
- 5+ years in manufacturing quality assurance, preferably in electronics or hardware products
- Hands-on experience working with contract manufacturers and suppliers
- Knowledge of quality methodologies (8D, root cause analysis, FMEA) and ISO 9001
- Experience with product certification processes - an advantage
- Background in audio, RF or wireless products - an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, high attention to detail
- Excellent English, written and spoken
- Ability to work on-site in the Tel Aviv District and travel to suppliers as needed
- Degree in Electronics, Industrial Engineering or a related technical field
