Headline letters print 17 mm (0.65 in) tall. That meets the ADA minimum of 5/8 in for signs read from under 6 ft (ADA 703.5.5).
In the print dialog, choose your printer or "Save as PDF", keep the paper size as Letter and turn on background graphics.
Good to know
- Under the ADA, each assembly area that must provide assistive listening needs a sign telling patrons it's available, with the International Symbol of Access for Hearing Loss. Where there's a ticket office or window, signs there can take the place of signs in each room (ADA 216.10).
- Sign text must also meet the ADA's visual character rules, such as a non-glare finish and high contrast (ADA 703.5). Print on matte paper or have the sign made by a sign shop.
- Venues that display the Auracast™ logo need to register their location with the Bluetooth SIG at bluetooth.com/auracast/location-registration.
